Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan, an actor and member of SSC's board since 2011. She is the founder and co-artistic director of the recently formed theatre firm Speech of Fire. She was the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until the end of 2019. She was also the producer and costume designer, as well as composer/musician as well as a text coach for SSC during her time as the Artistic Director of SSC. While she was usually the leader of the actors' ensemble, during her final year she made her debut as a director (and lighting designer) with the SSC's King Lear. Ross with whom they have two children. Post she is an outstanding actress, as well as a wonderful wife and mother has been a role model for numerous Hollywood celebrities.
